However it will freeze again very shortly. The only way I can find to unfreeze the main map is to go back to Library, change selected photo, change back, and then return to Map. However, I can see that my input is being received because the small map in the "Navigator" window on the left panel continues to update as per my actions. In the Map mode, when trying to navigate the map in the main window, after a few operations the map display will freeze completely, with no response to panning or zooming. My symptoms are similar to those of the OP: I was very happy to recieve the 6.13 release with the fix to the dreaded "Map Offline" bug, but unfortunately the map feature has now gone from "very trying" to "virtually unusable".
I am also experiencing this problem with 6.13.
